I don’t take the tab out I leave it there and stab a hole and it pours slow🤷🏻‍♀️

The hole is shaped like a tear drop if u flip it around to the small tip of the tear drop it comes out little and then if u want alot then flip it to the larger end u can pour from both sides lol

Now, I'm not a Mom, but I do know that certain brands of this stuff have better openings than others; some trickle nicely and offer control, while others gush out like a fire hydrant. Also, you could buy a chrome spout and just put it on every bottle you open ... they're made specifically for this issue.

This... uhm..
There are literally oil toppers. Metal ones. That have the tiny spout for this reason.
And it's been said, just don't tip the bottle as far, like when you're pouring spices. If too much is coming our, don't tip the bottle less.
