Average squad players short circuit their brain just being told to be near the squad leader.

Dont all be grouped up, leanred thay the hard way in arma, full squad wiped by a single mortar...good times, i meed to reinstall both arma and squad

I’d say this works well with an above average squad but not with most of your average players in public matches

It’s great when you get a whole squad doing wolverine type tactics/guerrilla warfare, nothing is more satisfying than ambushing a tank, getting fully supplied by a teammate than taking out a helio and logi in the same life only to lose the game because the rest of the team didn’t use armour 😤🤣

The problem are; other squad member often move individually/ not listening to their SL.
And me as a newbie who have no idea what to do, especially in the heat of combat

ya telling them to stay spread out is probably as advanced as the average squad player can handle lol

While there are so many players who lack the experience to do this level of planning, there ARE enough experienced players who CAN lead and execute these maneuvers. If you have one or more squad members who simply refuse to cooperate…..kick them. It’s that simple.
