I must admit, I played a bit of Minecraft in my youth and this is what I always wanted. To establish a kingdom and lead wars to secure and expand it.

This is perfect combination with it takes a pillage mod. I can lead an army of villagers to invade a castle of illagers. What's interesting is in pillager castles they have prison cells with golems and villagers so that's a bonus, they fight to free their kind. This is gonna be so cool. I can use a horn and charge into battle. No more solo battling castles or other pillager bases. I got an army for full on war!!

The mod is great. The problem I find with this mod is the tremendous amount of pillagers out there now. Now they can spawn anywhere and are much stronger. I don't know if that can be changed.

There’s one thing that I think would complete this mod; a function for getting the villager soldiers to march in column formations, where they effectively move as one until you order them to disperse.

Loved the video @Noxus! Can't wait for the next video man! Would love to see the Villager Recruits Mod updated for 1.18.2 and 1.19.2 versions of Minecraft! Something else that would be really cool is if it were Compatable with Mods that would allow you to Build Ships and even Improve the Pillagers, like say having Pirates and Bandits in the Game, as well as a Means of Progressing them through the Ages of Warfare where you start off in Vanilla/Medieval Ages, but you can progress to the Second World War period or even the Cold War/Modern Era, however, so do the Pillagers.

Imagine this: You've Built up a Village that you found after about a week of Playing a New World Seed which is about 1, 000 Blocks away from where you Set up a Base. You've Built up the Population, Hired Several Swordsmen, Bowmen and Shieldman Villagers and Fought off several Village Raids and even the Odd Zombie Siege. They've become Hardened War Veterans as they've fought by your Side for Thousands of Days. So you soon realize that the Pillagers or even Other Players, if this were a Multiplayer Server, will be getting stronger and Better Troops, Equipment, Materials and even Better Tactics and Training, and you've done all you can do to get them leveled up. So you then decided to Upgrade everything, to the Age of Sail and Establish your Own Navy by Building Brigantines, Barquentines, Galleons, Clippers, Schooners and Even Frigates, Heavy Frigates and Super-Heavy Frigates like the USS Constitution along with Upgrading your Soldiers to use Flintlock Muskets and Pistols though at the Cost of Having to just give them Leather Armor Dyed to become their Uniforms. A few thousand days later and you Upgrade Again to the Age of Steam and Build Railway Lines (Yes, with the Create Mod) and Start Using this new Technology to Power your Navy, the Army will now be using Smokeless Powder, Revolvers and later Gatling Guns and Cased Ammunition. As the Days go by, your Forces eventually evolve into the First World War Period and then the Pinicle in the Second World War building your choice of British, American, German, Japanese, Russian, French or even Italian Aircraft, Warships, Tanks, Transports and even Anti-Tank guns, Anti-Aircraft guns, Howitzers and various Small arms. And so Minecraft's own take on the Second World War begins with the Pillagers Heavily Rebuilding the Losses they took from all the Fighting and Radiply Expanding their Territories while Also overrunning any Forces you have in some of the More "Far Flung" or "Far Off" Territories of your own. Imagine seeing Strategic Bombing Campaigns like in Europe or Island Hopping Campaigns or Amphibious Assaults like in the Pacific or in Italy and France, Tank Warfare like on the Eastern Front or Carrier Warfare like in the Pacific all in Minecraft!

Hey Noxus this is probably one of the best mods I've seen I commented on this video with another now deleted channel of how great this was. Just one tiny question. Could you maybe expand the versions to be compatible with 1.12.2, so we can pare it with most other mods! Otherwise this is one of the best mods I've seen so far

I hope you add the feature wherein we can change the face of the villager, because it fits well with Epic Knights': Shields, Armor and weapons but their top head would glitch out and poke out of the armor sets given to them esp some of the armors, also their little squid ward noses.

Dumb but important questions:
- Do soldiers automatically defend the villages they're in, similar to golems, or does a player have to hire them first? Ie attacking hostile mobs, and players that have low reputation?
- Will farmer villagers automatically give food to their village's warriors the same way they will other villagers?
