Bob-omb Battlefield Secret in Super Mario Odyssey (Easter Egg)

We show off a small little Easter Egg in Super Mario Odyssey involving Bob-omb Battlefield from Super Mario 64 and the Blue Hint Toad!

It feels really good to make a discovery about a cool detail nobody mentioned and it blows up.

I had it happen to me for this game about a week ago, except it didn't get crazy big and showcased, but I am still proud of it.

My "discovery" was hidden in Mario's ledge climbing animation, where if you tilt upwards, Mario will climb slowly, but if you press A, Mario has a separate faster animation. This was a detail in Mario 64 that got transferred over to this game, and a nice chunk of people found it interesting.

another Bob-omb Battlefield reference is the jingle when you collect a random Power Moon, which sounds similar to the tune in the Bob-omb Battlefield theme

I wish Bob-Omb Battlefield was actually back as returning area in Super Mario Odyssey though just like the Backyard of Super Mario 64, even with the Bob-Omb King returning, you could capture Bob-Ombs to defeat him! Or just grab him from behind (uh... -_- sounds a little to wrong) like the Original Super Mario 64

If you press the plus button, then press options on the menu and push choose mode it plays the song for the Comet Observatory from Super Mario Galaxy
