Caving or spelunking is not for the faint-hearted. It involves exploring deep caves where it gets darker and harder to breathe the further you go. Picture squeezing through rocks in complete darkness. But imagine finding a cave filled with sparkling crystals, some as long as a school bus.
Even though it looks amazing, you can't stay and admire the beauty for too long if you want to stay safe. So, put on your hard hat and walking boots as we talk about why this giant Crystal Cave is one of the most dangerous natural wonders. We'll also look at other caves that might look beautiful but are too risky to enter.

I live within an hour of Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. The greatest cave system in the world. I've visited many times. It's awesome!
