Hi Great video..I watched it...and then went out, where my brother was..I'm 69 he's a few yrs younger ..i asked him to get me in a full nelson...firmly but not to hurt...so he did and I used your trick in the short video...not only did I get out of it...I almost hurt him..I couldnt believe it...Thanks...Dave

That is not a Full Nelson, it's just a neck grab. It definitely wouldn't work against a properly applied Full Nelson. The attack should have been stopped before the arms got near the neck.

Once one's head is up and the full nelson grip is broken, is a rear headbutt to the face advisable, or is escape the primary goal at that point?

Years ago one a rather large man put me into a headlock, so I kicked him in the back of the head with my right heel which dropped him rather speedily.
