Great insights can be quite easily found when you utilize DAX formulas well.
This example is no exception. I'm looking to compare any sale versus the last sale made on any particular historic day. So time intelligence function won't do the job for us here.
Sometimes in Power BI you need insights where time intelligence function won't produce the results for you. So you need to think through the logic required.
The FILTER function in combination with the CALCULATE statement enables us to find this great insight.
