Actually Girl Meets Rileytown has an even deeper message:

At the time, Rowan Blanchard actually was being bullied because people didn't like her character. They made this episode to address the issue directly, and all the emotions Rowan was displaying are 100% genuine.

Her bully is never shown because, like you said, she's breaking the 4th wall, and addressing the real bully: the audience.

"What a girl is" is an awesome song.
Getting bullied is never fun, it's sad how society mocks people for being different. Glad franchises like Disney are bringing it up.

Today's episodes about racism are nothing compared with Raven's masterpiece:
Mentioning the great figures of US black history and showing solid racism and its downfall made this episode the greatest of this list.

The whole series of Andi Mack was so progressive!! Yes, Cyrus saying he's gay on disney channel was a huge thing but also focused on teen pregnancy, panic attacks, having a parent in the military, having a disability etc.

I think what's also important to note is that Cyrus on Andi Mack was one of the few lead Jewish characters who had storylines related to his Jewishness that was prevalent throughout the entire show and not just mentioned around Christmas time and never brought up again.

Yes Cyrus coming out was big but Jonah's FIRST panic attack??? Isn't Jonah the first Disney character to actively have a full on panic attack?

What about the episode of Shake it up when Cece reveals that she's Dyslexic, as a dyslexic myself I was happy that I could relate my favorite character on the show, it made me feel noticed

The autism episode of Girl Meets World dealt with it the wrong way. It's just what makes us different and unique! Though, I will give credit to the part where Farkle asks Smackle if he can hug her. I'm autistic and I like hugs. However, there are some people on the spectrum who are uncomfortable with it, so that part I found respectful.

As much as I loved how Thats So Raven tackled the racism episode, I also loved how this one episode of Smart Guy called "Get a Job" handled it before that. Yvette applies for a job at a clothing store and actually does get the job but the store manager keeps making her white friend Nina follow black people around the store. They try to catch her by having Mo, who is black, and Mackey, who is white, pretend to be customers, Mo just looking around the store while Mackey pretends to steal everything in sight. When Yvette tries to confront the racist manager about this, she gets fired. Eventually, Yvette calls the owner of the company, who is a black man, and he comes into the store disguised as a customer. The manager follows him around the store obsessively and he eventually calls her on it and reveals who he is. If I remember right, He fires the manager and rehires Yvette

I'm autistic and I really liked the autism episode if Girl Meets World. I know some people hate the way some of the characters act to hearing Farkle might have it, but I saw it as them not knowing enough about it, and the whole episode was about teaching them more about it. I was a little disappointed when it turned out Farkle didn't have it, but liked that Smackle did. I found her a very relatable character, especially with the hugging thing. The way she reacts to people hugging her is the same way I react to it.

Somehow I was really hoping that the that’s so Raven episode about black history and tackling racism would be number one on this list and I wasn’t the least bit disappointed.

I feel the episode of GMW where Maya confronts her father about leaving was a powerful episode

I almost expected to see the owl house up here with Amity being pressured into being a bully by her family and parents. To Amity and Luz worlong through their feelings for each other. To the point they are actually dating in show. While also tackling the fear of dating a girl. How Hunters words made Amity think Luz would break up with her. Or how Raine the non binary love interest of Eda. How they faught and showed courage to the break up Eda had with them.

I feel like Andi Mack could have a top ten of their own tbh... LGBTQ+ storylines, learning disabilities, teen pregnancy, gun safety, panic attacks, racial prejudice, just to name some. They also had a lot of storylines surrounding diverse representation like Chinese and Jewish culture, and Deaf culture. I just wish all the episodes were available to people who haven't seen the show since they're not all on Disney+ 😔

I think this other episode of That’s So Raven, Five Finger Discount, that one addresses two very serious issues; Bowing to peer pressure and committing acts of theft. Remember that one where Corey fell in with a group of shoplifters?

"Girl Meets Rileytown" is my wife's favorite episode of Girl Meets World. It did a great job at addressing the struggle of trying to put on a brave face while being bullied

They dealt with autism wrong and the episode got backlash. I wish you weren't helping spread that episode around :/ Wisg you'd remake this without that and add Andi Mack's gun safety instead because that was pretty serious and I never thought they'd cover that.

I really liked the episode on Girl Meets World when they tackled everyone's backgrounds and Farkle and Zay learn about their heritage
