I think the "T as in Troy?" was more of a rethorical question than Gabriela actually wondering what it meant. It was like saying "Aww, you gave me a necklace with the letter T, from your name 🥰" more than "Hmm, what could the T really stand for? 🤔". That makes it less cringe.

I agree it’s super cringy looking back, but at the time it was funny and age appropriate. I would rather see these kinds of scenes for movies targeted at tweens/teens rather than dark movies like Euphoria.
