This is what I was telling my sister! The guy fell into a trap He has no idea how this system works they can lure you into saying anything. I came as a very young adult I have many stories to tell. Unfortunately we Nigerians talk too much the average Nigerian would have done the same thing if not worse people can rat out others just for fame. The UK government wanted a bait and the guy made himself available. He was 'used' to establish their long term goal. The UK government has been about the issue of massive infux of students and dependent family members long before this so called interview. Although the guy messed up big time, he's not the major reason for the ban.

I’m not sure why people are dragging content creators. Many people have benefited from the information shared by people looking to migrate. Immigration rules and guidelines change over time so does the country, so content creators who share their japa move in detail help many looking to move directly or indirectly, preparing them for what they may likely face. The guy doesn’t understand how BBC works, if he did he would say nothing negative about his country. He made a mistake and I believe he will learn from it. Let’s all now focus on what’s coming and how to readjust to new developments. Thank you for sharing this❤

Nigerians have been in the UK for decades. My parents moved 35 years and I was born here. What I can say is that everyone moved in silence and hustle and kept quiet. I don’t want to fully blame YouTubers but the Nigerians that have been coming since 2019 have been making too much noise. Everyone wants to be a content creator and immigration consultant . Yes useful information is shared but all of the info is online or is not a secret. Personally I think Nigerians brought this on ourselves. We talk to much in general. Emdee messed up yes, but he was a scapegoat. The number of Nigerian dependents is the highest in the UK. We abuse everything. Take one we want to take 50! The data does not lie. The UK is not our land so they can do what they want. If Nigeria was good would we leave in the first place ?

You are making sense. But the Uk is at heat already it’s not about what the guy said. Too much immigration in a country hurts a country. Look at how to get a house alone is very difficult. Even some people can’t even get a job. Bf Uk jobs is rampant but now people are finding it difficult to get jobs nowadays.If they don’t cub immigration Uk will be like Italy, Spain and some other European countries BCs of too much immigration.

I just feel that many Nigerians have too much energy to talk against the governments of the foreign countries they have chosen to relocate too. It would nice for us to have this same energy for our own inept Nigerian Government sha. The UK has the right to implement restrictions on International students if they feel that they can no longer cope with the influx and the strain of services. It is their land and their laws. Lets start petitioning and talking against Nigerian governments before we start talking about another.
Also it is a given that International students will pay more than home students. There is a Govt cap on how much home students pay, It is what good governments do for their citizens.

The UK law for immigrants has not been so favourable compared to it's counterparts. The UK already made their decision, its not because of the interview granted by that man who i still doubt he's Nigerian. However, if he's truly Nigerian, then he 'did his country bad' by what he said. Every citizen of a country should be the first PR of their country!

On the otherhand too, i personally believe that alot of content creators out there (Nigerians) talk too much and way unnecessarily. There are ofcourse better ways to pass information about studying and living in a country and not put out some certain information out there, as some people reception level is very different. People have been migrating abroad through studies, as far back as in the 70s but since the government of Uk decided to resume 2years post study visa again, the social media platform hasn't heard word from African, especially Nigerians moving and living in the UK😅

Asians, Russians and the rest are also migrating to this country with same purpose, yet we don't get alot of them make content out of it the way Nigerians and Africans do😢
