I injured my finger when I was younger and it caused my finger to instantly swell. Someone came to my rescue to cut the ring off my hand. Thank God because it was cutting off my circulation and I could have passed out or worse. Bless her heart there's s probably an explanation of sentimental attachment to the ring. Y'all always be beautiful.

I knew it. Ive always wondered what if your ring stays on if it swells? Thinking like a tree, the skin will just probably wrap around the ring and stick to the other side skin and heal. I was right. I wish i wasnt

If you can’t get it off go to either a Fire Department or Jeweler or last resort the ER.. I have severe arthritis and had my hands swell massively over night. I have had to have my rings cut off a few times. If you care about your rings go to a jeweler they can cut them off with the least amount of damage and then repair your ring. I have learned to always take my rings off during the night.
