Mark Hanna? I saw him crashing in Sabadell airport with a Buchon in 1999, when he had problems with the motor. A very sad and distressing day. RIP Mark Hannah

I have some Video 8 footage somewhere of a glorious “beat up” of Duxford by Black 6 in her usual guise and probably the other in this short film clip, belonging to Hans Dittes (feel free to correct my spelling)……

The other had a dark cammo, with a spiral nose and was a G10(?) built from a Buchon with a DB605 fitted……. They straggled as a loose pair from the West at very low altitude, arriving crossways to the runway…….then beat the place up for a bit. I feel terribly disloyal, but the menacing chatter from those DB605’s stands as an all time favourite 😎🇬🇧

RIP Black 6 and perhaps more importantly RIP Mark Hanna…….. up there somewhere with Ray….. wheeling about the sky in a never ending tail chase 😇

Me109s are much under-rated planes. We tend to forget that because the Germans lost the war. I had the pleasure seeing one up close in a Museum just near the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
