Actually it comes in 38mm and 41mm sizes. I like how it is also available in a variety of colors. I don’t think that I would get it on a rubber strap but with the contrast stitching it’s pretty cool. At least you can go to an authorized dealer and actually buy an Omega.

I think the problem is that omega changed their designs way too much over the decades and the watch lacks a “timeless” aesthetic in comparison to a datejust/OP in most buyers eyes

It looks less refined than Rolex, that is the problem. When I look for a watch, I care about the overall aesthetics and wearability (size, thickness, bracelet, clasp, micro adjustment) and AT does not have any of those

The OP and the Aqua Terra are both really nice watches. As someone else mentioned here, you do have a few case sizes to choose from with the Aqua terra now. I could go either way on these depending on how I’m feeling any particular day……the fact that I can just walk into a store and buy the omega without having to pay more on the secondary market makes the decision pretty easy for me (if I was actually gonna buy one, this is all just an exercise in fantasy play)

There are many watches that are "better" than Rolex, but will never be as desirable. There is a reason certain watches get to hype status. It is because their design is attractive. It's not due to some inexplicable mass hysteria. This is coming from someone who doesn't currently even own a Rolex.

Completely agree would much rather have this than a OP Rolex and does come in a 39mm and has quite a few dial colors and variations like the small seconds for half what the OP cost.

Wouldn't spend thousands on a Rolex or an Omega. But if I were to waste thousands of dollars on a brand name, I would take Rolex over Omega, any day of the week.
