I loved my dog. I remember thinking I would never love another thing more than him in my life and when he died, I sobbed at work everyday for half a month straight. Then I had my daughter and if I lost her, I’d find the nearest bridge and jump off of it immediately. Life would have zero meaning. It’s not even remotely comparable.

I don't have kids but I've got the most adorable nieces and nephews who's cute little smiles are sooo worth suffering hours of driving just to see.

I've got 6 nieces and nephews so I can be the adult in our entire family who gets to buy the fun presents and be the one the kids run to for snacks and be the aunty who the kids can call at the drop of a hat cos they know ill cave and drop what I'm doing to come see them.

I also do that with my youngest siblings cos they are literally preschoolers.... may our dearest parents never find out how much I'm spoiling kids I shouldn't. 😅

But I'm an adult and I don't have kids so I feel it is my duty to make the kids smile and annoy every other adult in my family who gave birth to them all in one 😂😂😂.

I think it was Travis Willingham who said that having a child is like having your heart hop out, grow arms and legs, and start running around. I have no children, but I'm pretty sure that's not what buying a pet feels like.

When I was little, our dog bit me. So naturally he passed away. From an old age. After 15 years of the accident. So yeah i dont know who they loved more

Our dog bit me in the face when I was a toddler, my parents tried to rehome him once and the person they gave him to gave him back to us for some reason lol. Then we ended up just having him until he died ten years later.
