There maybe never a collection plate go round the pews at a meeting but they certainly advertise (give a talk) begging for more so that they can have a wage booze and luxury homes with the heating paid for - yep by us poor ones.
As a child l saw a priest come for his money envelope from a very poor family and demand the money they had to buy a loaf of bread for their dinner. Same principle. 😢
