TWITCH DROPS CONFIRM WIPE DATE // Escape from Tarkov News

Twitch drops for Escape from Tarkov have been confirmed to start on the 29th of December so the tarkov wipe is now guaranteed to happen before that day. So this is one of the rare occasions where we can now say there is a guarantee that the tarkov wipe will happen either tomorrow, the 27th or the 28th. I think the Fire Sale is what the 26.12 tease may be, with the game wiping on either 27th or 28th (most likely 27th though, as you said they don't want server issues during Twitch Drops)

Saw someone made a good point. Last wipe they released the trailer 2 days before wipe. So speculation is wipe trailer on 26th and wipe on 28th

Wipe is thursday, tuesday is trailer and patch notes wednesday with the fire sale

Another mini "event" of sorts is it looks like scav cases are dropping little red presents, they might be in raid too. It is basically like the halooween pumpkins, you get a bit of random loot when you unpack them

The reason they do this is because their dog water servers can't handle everyone knowing when the wipe is. They want people to not be able to plan around it. It's scummy tactics and tbh I'm getting sick of it.

I don't think they will wipe tomorrow (26th). After they added all per-existing christmas events, and the (new to me) christmas present drops they'll probably wait untill the 27/28th at least
