Yes, passing a bunch of cars at a stop sign then just going on through, becoming one of my favorite things especially when I steal their lane ahead of them, pop it into 3rd, and *keep* the lane because I'm doing 37 in a 35 so they have to endure it. :-)
They hate more that I'm doing it on a stand up scooter. I love my GoTrax GX3 so much even though it's "expensive" (lool it was 1699 and worth every penny) and they're gonna hate it worse when I have saved up enough for my next PEV Acedeck NYX Z3 because that's a mountain board. :-)

I think its fine. Its situational though. Since you need movement for balance on a bike, its better to keep moving when its safe to do so. When you can do it safely it should be ok to do.
