The CDJ 900 has supported HID mode in traktor for a few years now, Might want to do a bit more research. Good tutorial either way. I am loving my XDJS :D

I set up Traktor with my XDJs the day the update came out. I will say this, HID mode is pretty neat but the XDJs are fantastic just by themselves. You do not get the large waveform display in HID mode so you'll have to keep your laptop close enough to see. The only downside is rekordbox itself is pretty horrendous compared to Traktor as far as managing music, but you can dump a large collection to a single USB stick and drop onto someone else's Pioneer players.

I have a problem - all connected as described - seems fine. However when I click the main rotary encoder down on either XDJ it cues deck A in Traktor. Basically it's like the encoder is mapped to cue deck A. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Thank you very much for the video. I have a question please. I have all my music library in Traktor in .FLAC format. If I want to connect Traktor to a CDJ(or XDJ), do I have to use a CDJ that supports the .FLAC format? I understand not, since the sound would come from the computer directly to the mixer and the CDJ would control only one traktor deck. Is that possible? Thank you very much in advance.

can you search your traktor library via the keyboard of your mac with this set up? if you have a huge librabry then you will need be able to search via the keyboard and not scroll

The XDJs is not showing up in the controller manager on Traktor and I followed all the steps leading to this point.. Any suggestions??

Hi, thanks for nice video :) .. I have been already using CDJ 900 NXS with traktor and works pretty well. However I would like to ask what to do If am playing after a mate who is using the USB and I dont want to interrupt the set by switching off the CDJs ... Can I setup cdjs with my traktor at the begining and then let my mate playing from USB and after that thru link setup to choose traktor? Many thanks for your reply :) Milan
