Monaco is backed by France and faces the Mediterranean Sea, with a land area of about 2 square kilometers. Monaco originally belonged to the ducal estate, hence its title as a principality. In Monaco, there is an ancient legend that the marriages of the Monaco royal family have always been shrouded in a curse, condemning them to never find happiness. The curse dates back to over 700 years ago when the Grimaldi family, who are the current royalty of Monaco, invaded the land. After violating a young girl and brutally murdering her, the girl, unable to rest in peace, transformed into a witch and cursed the Grimaldi family to never have a happy marriage. Subsequent generations of rulers indeed experienced unhappy marriages. For instance, in the 17th century, Prince Louis I's wife left him and became the mistress of the French King Louis XIV. Fast forward to the early 20th century, the reigning prince of Monaco was Louis II. He remained single for most of his life and did not have any legitimate offspring. It was only three years before his death that he thought of getting married and chose a French actress as his wife. Louis II passed away three years after their marriage, and his wife did not bear any children.

I don't think she would have ever regretted ignoring her mother and marrying Oleg Cassini.

Oh PLEASE, PLEASE do not even try to compare Princess Grace with silly willy Diana. Diana was in love with herself and the media.

Diana chased the Papps as much as they chased her (at her calling them and telling them where she would be!!!)

Princess Grace was very beautiful, inside and out. She was a true and real person. She never tried to dominate the narrative over her husband. Yes, he was a difficult husband and she had made a poor choice. But she personally aknowledged her mistake and didn't blame it on others.

Because she was the Princess of MonteCarlo she engaged herself in meaningful projects for them and the citizens her husband was ruler of. She didn't go public and write a book behind his back, or do TV shows to have everyone just hate him. No, she accepted the fact that he was not a faithful husband. It had been a choice she made and with that choice came a load of responsibility. She never ducked her accountability nor her responsibility.

She loved her children and tried to make them a home within the confines of a palace.

Princess Grace didn't play games with the press in an attempt to make the people love her. She was and still is the most beautiful young lady ever in this world. She had some demons of her own and accepted them as she knew she was not a perfect human being.

Princess Grace was a humble, truly humble, not any make believe with eyes contorting, she was compassionate from her heart, and not, again, to get points. We will forever love Princess Grace. She was the most remarkable Royal who ever existed among all these families of Royals.
