BUDGET 2024 HIGHLIGHTS | Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman spoke for about 82 minutes while presenting the union budget today. While everyone was looking forward to big tax sops, that didn't exactly happen though the finance minister did raise the standard deduction limit, and introduce changes to the tax slabs. She also laid out a 3-part scheme for employees, and a roadmap to boost jobs and upskill workers. Interestingly, though expectedly, there were big announcements for both Bihar and Andhra Pradesh.
