Latvia isn't in eastern Europe dude:D Its a northern Europe as Lithuania and Estonia as well. Due this fact don't behave like you are in eastern Europe it could cost you a lot of awkward situations

Actually the younger generation understands English and other languages well an not only in Riga, but through all country. Of course there are exceptions in older generation and some other, who do not whant to learn anything. And I wouldn't suggest to learn Russian. Yes it would help to communicate with Russian speaks, but it wouldn't help with integration with larger civil society and especially with Latvians. There would always be a distance even if sad Latvian would answer You in Russian.

The Art Nouveau in Riga is some of the best I've ever seen. The final stop of the airport bus is a bit dodgy direction away from the old town and the street facing the shopping mall is terrible for break ins. I still think Vilnius has the best looking women in that area, but Riga is a close second with Gdansk. Why don't you do the Czar experience in Stockholm or Oslo?

I love Latvia, but I don't want it to get ruined by hoards of rowdy Brits or sleazy Americans. We only want classy Brits and other respectable visitors to the lovely country that is Latvia. The infrastructure in Latvia is pretty good, but then again it's a small country, so there aren't huge tracts of land or huge cities to develop. Prices of food and other products are quite expensive, in fact I'd say food prices are sometimes more expensive than say the UK, because in the UK we have strong competition from the different supermarket chains.

Even electronics and clothes are quite expensive in Latvia, while the wages are much lower than the West. That's why most Latvians leave the country to go and work Germany and other Western European countries. But yeah, the women are tall and beautiful in Latvia, it's a great country to visit.

Latvia is nice. Valmiera, Rujiena, Salacgriva, Mazalazca, and Riga. Visited many times. Nice looking gals. Tall. But Estonia is even nicer! And Lithuania also. sveiciens!

lativa is a good country in general, adn I think you forgot to say that it is one of the safest countries in the world. Many beautiful women although their highest average female height in the world, 1, 70, means that more than one third of girls are over 1, 73 - 1, 74... and girls with such height have huge feet, size 40 or higher... which turns off the vast majority of men, including me.... or their height by itself makes them not suitable for men under 1, 77, 1, 78... which are more than 80 % of men in the West, I am 1, 79. .. but if you rule out the third of girls who are too tall for the vast majority of western (and also latino and asian) men, the country is a good choice. Maybe Baltic or Swedish or Dutch men, the tallest in the world, with average heights around 1, 82, don't care to date women with foot size 40 or higher 😂. The tallest I dated was a Russian 1, 72, foot size 39, and those were not precisely the sexiest feet I have ever seen 😂 although she is a flight attendant and was a professional model when she was younger, super-beautiful face....

About the "blonds" in the baltic countries (I have been in the 3 baltic countries and my wife of 10 years is Lithunian), they usually are blond during childhood, then when teenager they are like light braun, then as young women they have that tendency to bleach their hairs. Really not that many real blonds in the baltic countries, somewhat more in Estonia than in Latvia and Lithuania.
About the myth of the baltic state women being beautiful. I would say not more beautiful than in most part of the world. Many have blue eyes and those somewhat (fake) blondish hair thus for italians or spaniards they tend to associate blond with blue eyes as beautiful women but they are not intrinsiquely more beautiful than women of their countries, just more exotic. Also often the most beautiful have left their country. It also depends where you go in those countries, in the pooshest bars of Riga chances are that women will be more good looking than in the suburbs of Ventspils (not so trendy mid size latvian city). Like in every country. Those countries are very very nice, but probably not for those skin deep reasons.
