Context: After touching an ancient artifact and disappearing, the former MTF agent, now scp-451 "Mister Lonely" returned to the foundation several months later, however when he returned it soon became evident that he was no longer capable of perceiving other people, including any immediate actions made my them. to Mister Lonely, everyone disappeared without but things still change on their own.

just read this guy's file. Dude can't see or hear any other humans on the planet, can apparently still see some SCP's though. Even trying to write him a note, he won't see it. Can't perceive anyone or anything they've done. Poor guy.

*Ultimately the O-5 council & Ethics committee approved INDRID COLD's mock SCP-451 file & the photo which were successful in giving SCP-451 hope that he would return to his home dimension (he has been lead to believe he is hopping dimensions which is why he can't find anyone, save for the staff member he fatally injured while attempting to kill himself with a gun, whom he was able to perceive as he laid dying)!*

I have been thinking about Mr. Lonely; he would know that people exist even though he can't see them. The environment around him would be changing, without his intervention and the only way that would happen is if people existed. Assuming he can't see people interacting with the environment, he would know that things are changing around him. Items in a cabinet would disappear, the trash would fill up and then empty, and stuff like that. There would be numerous clues that people existed but for some reason, he can't see them.
