If at least to satisfy some nostalgia, man the PSP really was amazing.

Ngl PSP was ahead of it’s time considering the rise of switch and steamdeck which are all basically just supercharged bigger psps.

LOL Seeing the interaction between you and him, Austin's a good dude. Trying to make a good decision business wise, but also help your boy out. Good Sh*t! Love to see it

PSP is a great bit of hardware, has a really good handheld library, I really recommend Pilot Academy, a really addictive Pilot Wings inspired game, next good one is Retro Cave Flyer, which is like a spiritual sequel to the Mega Drive game Sub-Terrania, Blast Off is another gem of a game.

The PSP had great media capabilities, including music that sounds incredible thanks to the high-quality audio DAC and headphone AMP.

A few extra screws when you're all done makes you a Master Repair Tech!

Okay now I really need to play that project diva again. PSP is my og console in my teenage years, so much memories with it! Might buy one soon just for the nostalgia

PSP was essentially my first smart phone lol... Had music, movies, and games on it. Carried it everywhere.

Why not just get a Vita? You can just play all PSP games on there with a better screen (OLED) and better battery. And on top of the PSP compatibility, you get Vita games like Gravity Rush, Persona 4 Golden, Hotline Miami, Telltale's Walking Dead, Mortal Kombat, Final Fantasy X / X-2, Terraria, etc.

Great video Mr Denki, i would love to see a similar video on the psvita with a full teardown/mod, i modded mine like 4 years ago and it was a mission but now it can all be done on the system and takes like less than 10 minutes, easily one of my favourite handhelds

with rumors of Sony releasing a new handheld in the near future, I'm torn on whether to wait for it or just get a PSP. I would be super down for them to release a modernized version of the PSP.

Man I got a PSP to get started in installing homebrew firmware and so glad it sparked that in me. Love your videos

The UMD reading infinitely is because of a button inside the UMD drive that looks like a small pogo stick. It just needs to be pressed by the UMD door properly.

I got my PSP 1000 since February 2005. Still works until now and still playing with it now. Just keep maintaining it. Battery still works too.
