plus years ago I walked these streets in Nurnberg on many of my Saturdays - I got to my duty station in Illesheim in November 1971 and went back home in July 1974...I was blown away Nurnberg on my first visit on the night of Friday, 12 Nov 1971...and YES I remember the exact date an day very well...there used'ta be a 'gypsy style' covered wagon with a blue top that sold bratwurst and brochen for 2 Marks just across the street from the hauptbahnhof...that wonderful smell would reach right out and grab you as you exited the station...I usually loaded mine mit 'senf' - that excellent spicy German mustard...got back once in 1994 - but my traveling days are over - and these vids are as close as I'll ever get again...thanx
