Prime years Ichiro was a beast, no pitcher wanted a part of him. Eyes like a hawk at the plate and the outfield. ⚾️

Fact these guys are on the ballot makes me feel warm inside. Every ballot from here on I’ll be aware of everyone’s playing career, but with these guys I was a kid watching them, mimicking them, playing baseball: love for the game coming into bloom. Bless ‘em all

If Ichiro is not a first ballot hall of famer, we officially need to abolish the voting system we currently have for Cooperstown

Ichiro with the MLB record of 262 hits in a single season and 10 consecutive years of 200+ hits. It should be obvious.

Anyone who does not vote for Ichiro deserves contempt.

I have officially reached the point where the guys I grew up watching are eligible for the Hall of Fame and for the first time, a rookie of the year is younger than me.

Very telling of CC and Ichiro's careers specifically when you look at the visual quality between their first and last clips.

Ichiro imposed his will on just about every pitcher he faced. Not many guys could do that

I wonder who's gonna be writer that wants extra attention and won't give a vote to Ichiro

If Felix gets in, Cooperstown needs to immortalize a bronze plaque of him and Beltre together. Specifically the moment where the King laughed at Beltre's strikeout.

...Please?

Hearing Vin Scully, Dave Niehaus, and Harry Kalas again in the same clip... Legends.

Cargo hit some of the hardest frozen rope home runs I've ever seen. Freakin lasers

CC, Ichiro, McCann, Zobrist, Abreu, Hunter, Jones, Petite, both Ramirezes, A.Rod, F.Rod, Utley, Wagner, and Bobby Cox (if he's not in there already) get my votes in for the HOF and a trip to Cooperstown

Forget Ichiro's numbers, the impact he had on baseball in general should warrant him a unanimous hall of famer.

The first to cross to MLB via posting system, leading to future players like Matsui, Ohtani, Senga, Yamamoto, and soon Roki Sasaki to join MLB, further expanding baseball's popularity.

For me, Ichiro is a no-brainer, but there are some great players on this ballot.
