I've lost count on both how many of his compositions I heard and how much I spent on listening to them.

Thank you, Maestro.

This musical maestro & his unique 1970s soundtracks where singers voices were used as both instruments and effects remain groundbreaking even today. He is a legend.

I wonder why he has only won an Oscar once in his life, even though he has made music for countless Hollywood movies. RIP

- TIME ON TIME Ennio Morricone -
Those who live with love and sentiment take the illustrious art by the hand.
Composing is an opportunity not to die, not to grow and expand behind a glass of nostalgia.
Ennio Morricone, the master of kissing notes, son of worker music and strong emotions
has fallen on the white angelic score.
I can't tell you which was the most beautiful soundtrack;
each note, one after the other, were sublime caresses, were forms of sweetness to the heart,
they were silent and penetrating like solitude, they were extensions of the nature of prairies in sight,
they were perfect executions to exchange a sign of peace.
Now let our tears flow which are not for his music,
but for the cordiality and the polite way in which he granted his memory in us.
His illustrious music will age and revive according to the human miracle ...
depending on a New Cinema Paradiso animated and loved by the plots of life.
To Ennio Morricone, the master of kissing notes on the longest day of kisses.

The way I see it, there's just two kinds of people in this world, those who paint pictures with music & those who dig it. I dig.
Two of my favorites:
From "Once Upon a Time in the West" Ennio Morricone featuring Edda Dell'Orso
@
The most poignant scene of sinner & saint & forgiveness in "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly"
"Father Ramirez"
