This is a full break down and Install of your convertible rear quarter windows. This video is crucial if you have windows that are not closing properly rocking around and or leaking water. this is one of the hardest projects you can take on as a convertible owner. the removal process is straightforward and easy the complications happen when you need to align the window. hopefully this video makes it easier for you and teaches you step by step what you need to do and pitfalls to avoid. I apologize in advance for making this as long as Zack Snyder is Justice League.... but somebody has to show how to do this correctly and that somebody's going to be Batman! I mean me.

I am convinced there is a man that's probably 90 years old now living in area 51 that was solely in charge of adjusting windows and installing weatherstrips in 87 to 93 convertibles back in the day and they keep him in a Hanibal Lecter cage after he lost his mind from all the years doing this, if you have one of these cars and you wake up one morning and say to yourself "man that weatherstrip has a little crack in it, i think ill change it" DON'T, leave it be until it has to be absolutely done and dont fuck with any adjustments on anything unless it needs it bad.

I love these cars and at the present own a vert and a hardtop and Ive had plenty of them over the years, the convertibles will test you patience like the vault at Fort Knox, babysitting 7 screaming kids?no worries, Ive worked on a convertible windows and weatherstrip, i can take anything, ill file 1 inch piece of steel down to a 1/8 with a ladies nail file before messing with any window adjustment in these cars, now a hardtop?? piece of cake.

Raymond, this is an absolute fantastic video. I have a 93 triplewhite Fox body and my right rear window just shit the bed and all I hear is the motor gear spinning and the window doesn't come up. Your video was very informative in a process to repair this problem. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to record and post this. Nice ride brother.

Outstanding presentation and explanations. Thank you so much for your devotion and details. There is no reason anybody shouldn't be able to do this project by following your steps and details, given the time and patience, plus resources, to do it.

Thanks for the video. You did an excellent job covering each detail and the important parts that can cause a bit of frustration. I appreciate you. I have a 94 Mustang GT 5.0 . I feel confident replacing my rear widow motor. Thanks Mr. Juggler

Excellent video. The LMR video basically omits any real information and will leave you lost. Your video will help a lot of people understand how to do this repair.

Just want to say, I really appreciate the time and torture you put yourself through to produce this. Repairing the quarters in my recently acquired 91 lx 5.0 currently so this is greatly appreciated.

4 minutes in and I already love the tip about the organizer to hold the parts... great idea! I need to do this on my '87 Foxbody vert... so I look forward to watching the rest of the video.

I’ve had the lmr repair kit for almost a year now and I’ve been too afraid to tackle it because I have learned first hand how easy they make things look in their install videos. Thank you for posting a real world install! After watching I think it’s finally time to tackle this project next weekend since it’s a 3 day weekend lol.

Started doing this today. Not too bad. Took an hour to pull both sides apart, took another hours to replace the bushings and the bottom mounts, an hour to reinstall and then 3hrs to adjust both sides to perfect. Yea, it was a PITA but in all honesty as long as you take pics of everything and don't rush its not too bad. The adjusting was frustrating at times and I walked away a few times but all in all a job the is doable as long as you have some mechanical background. Glad I found this video for advice on what not to loosen up, that was the # factor that saved my day. Thanks for the video! Now to replace control arms, springs and beef up the stabilizer bars.
