Thank you! Very insightful and helped me think how to do mine but im still stuck with a electricity box and also the thermostat and an old disability phone for buzzer entry which takes the already cramped hallway space even smaller and I'm yet to think how if i can remove some things like the phone i don't use so i can at least put some picture frames or shelves there or to put my favourite hats etc

I absolutely love the way you covered this up. BRILLIANTLY.
I do have to ask though, bcuz it looks like your electrical panel that ur covering. What do you have planned to mitigate accessibility problems, just in case that panel needs to be accessed? For example, if you get a power surge and your lights cut out, but when they come back on not everything came back on. You would probably go check your breaker box and flip the switch, and hope it comes back on - most common issue.
BUT that might be a big task if you have not planned any provisions for access.
I absolutely understand and completely resonate with you about wanting to come home after a really long day and even perhaps a very long week and ya just take your shit off.
But still have a nice place to hang it. And let’s just say, you look amazingly comfortable working in your gorgeous, fashionable pants and a bra That definitely would be something I would do.
Actually, I do and I love it.

I may be completely wrong right now, because when you were putting the contact paper up, it looks like you had some ability to move it the board that you put the wallpaper over even if you could move that and try to get to the box, it seems you’d have to take the wallpaper down much further up and at the bottom .
I mean no harm or ill intent, I am just curious. Thank you so much for sharing your shortcut to some small slice of Heaven.

Covering a utility box is against the law - it’s a fire hazard - check with your fire department for options to make use of that space so it isn’t an eye sore.

Good idea as long as it's removable. I had a picture frame holder wall hook made. So I can hang Jackets below. And on top the picture frame covers the utility box. And all you have to do is take the picture frame down to access the utility box
