Context is important. I’m thinking of the fact that the Manifesto was published in 1848, which in France and many of the small German states had a series of revolutions and revolts, much like 2011 and the Arab Spring. These revolts and manifesto should be seen as part of what was “in the air “ at their time. Much has changed there are changes that could not have been foreseen in Marx’s day. He would have been better off not predicting the future. But he’s not wrong about saying that Capitalism sews the seeds of its own destruction as in 1930 to 1933 period when fear and greed collided, and the same again in 2008 to 2009.

I just read the Communist manifesto and I agree with some of the other comments that it was a little hard to understand. You did a very good job of summarizing. Marx was very inciteful but his conclusions were flawed.

Education during communism was of a very high standard in Eastern Europe. It still is higher than in many Western countries, although the standard is being gradually lowered to match the Western public schools.

Need to explain more of borgouise as oppressor. Most student are in borgouise class. It does not mean youre a burges you are oppressor. You can live a proletarian life en deny your borgouise life. Through to participate in struggle for genuine freedom en international cause.

5:02 it's false. Both Marx and Engels rejected the child labour. Enges also emphasize that in "the condition of the working class in england" and Marx in the vol 1 and other books.
