I Read the Communist Manifesto

So we know this book caused an incredible amount of harm in the world, but we can’t deny what a massive impact it has had.

So I read the Communist Manifesto to try to understand the ideas in it, see what sense of them I could make, and see if any of them were useful for understanding the world today.

I think people say it doesnt work, its useful to ask "for whom?".
Through a fucked up unpaved and contradictory road, It lifted millions out of misery and colonialism.
I find it very funny when someone from a country that intentionally sabotagd many of these experiences out of existence or into needless death, criticizes it in such a shallow, thought-terminating manner.

We actually know it does work. If you look at united states foreign policy over the last 100 years, youll notice that no socialist system ever failed without a little interference from the west.

It doesnt work because of a clash between systems(generally capitalism v socialism or communism), and because it relies on a heirarchy, which always corrupts.
