Yeah Mantis is insane, the damage boost is incredibly strong. A lot of people undervalue it and just spend her charges on healing- but if you know when the best moments are to boost your DPS or tank, you will carry games.

Plus, I see a lot of Mantis players not weaving in damage enough. It's kind of like Kiriko where weaving in a shot or two in between your heals is optimal, even more so since headshots give you a charge.

Her ult also offers insane damage boost potential, since you can spend all your charge on dmg boost and nobody will die.

Despite overwatch having about 15-20 more characters, I've never seen so many S and A tier characters before especially S tier characters. I understand its a beta and its just for fun but I find it hilarious how many more characters are fun to play and impactful in Marvel Rivals than in Overwatch especially since the release of Overwatch 2.

I think they should make Hela projectile. She literally shoots a dagger. There’s no reason she should be able to survive a dive because of hitscan.

Peni Parker is a dive counter her web stun is really good against dive comps like venom hulk spiderman. You can really shut down their dive with her web and Mines

The funny thing is Peni is one of the only characters in the game who can 1 shot every character in the game. If you know how to setup her mines she can deal over 1, 000 damage.
Her ult is pretty nuts if you know how to use it. She can knock full groups of people back and even push people off the map. She also drops mines on the ground of which deal a ton of damage.
I have had 50 kill matches with her because of her mines if you place them correctly she's nuts.

Iron man is so slept on, he's basically good at everything. Good mobility, consistent damage and a really good ult. His team power basically gives him map control with how much he can spam the rockets. A lot of people need to start giving iron man a chance. He a Tier MINIMUM in my opinion

Storm herself isn't good, it's her auras that are good. That's why DPS players fail at playing her.

You play her more like a Support, like a Lucio/Zen hybrid, you'll carry games. Speeding a team in and then amping their damage is terrifying when done right.

Thor's hammer gives you 100 temp health (up to 800hp) on top of the damage it does. I think that's why the damage isn't a lot. Throw hammer for temp health before you shift onto someone then the melee hammer strikes charge your power way faster. Press F or Q the rinse and repeat

I agree with the dps melee chars (BP, Spidey and Magik): The only thing holding magik back from S Tier is that you barely ever get her portal team up, and to get some verticality, you have to waste your most precious cooldown, the dash (wish she had something like a wall hop); because of this, you would often rather spam chokes with your minion and other moves to safely charge ult and shields and not get cc'd/one/2 shot by supports or hela/punisher (which also, she doesn't have too many cooldowns without portals to get close/get out).

I find Loki very fun, but he does well when you stand still and shoot into a choke for the entire game 😂

Having only Peni lower than B shows what kinda game MR is, most games would have lots of good and equally as many bad characters. While MR makes sure all characters are great to play and viable. They’re not scared to make the game more fun at the cost of some broken situations.

FOR DEFENSE… Penny is really good. There are so many great spots to out the mine machine that either block off choke points or make kill rooms. Definitely hard to play but extremely rewarding for good placement. (Also her passive healing from spider webs is very nice)

Peni is very good because she has a cc ability on a 3 second cooldown and can lock down an area extremely well

Penny is my favorite character to play. Her ult can be good for pushing people off cart, but ya her ult is ass, can't wait for her to be buffed

Come on flats i thought at least you would understand by now your using penny ult wrong. Stop using the melee use the mines. During the ult you can place infinite spider mines and spreading your webs and combine with nest you basically set up a trob ult behind you it a huge denial of area.

Peni's ult is fantastic for knocking enemies off the point and securing a capture or a win! I made it to almost Top 500 in the Alpha with her and she got buffed for the beta!
