To add my own advice to it:

Put the toilet seat cover down. People think that after they take a shit they can just flush to get rid of it. This is false. If you leave the cover open, the shit will spread across your bathroom while escaping your perception. But the people around you, they will know. In life, at work or in a relationship, ask yourself: did I put the toilet seat cover down? Is my shit truly gone? Or did I merely transfer it onto others like the pollen of a flower in the wind?
