With 2022 marking the platinum jubilee of HRH Elizabeth II, the Severn Valley Railway has decided to renumber, rename and repaint rebuilt West Country Pacific 'TAW VALLEY' into a purple livery for the occasion. The Bulleid previously carrying the number 34027 in Brunswick green will carry number 70 and the name 'ELIZABETH II'. The first public unveiling can be seen in this video, with the locomotive sat on shed at Bridgnorth TMD, prior to nameplates being fitted.
