On previous wind project we used excel file with many tabs inside. It started to work very slowly.

We switched to Google sheets - no problems at all.

Document with hourly / tasks reports - in total almost 30k of rows

Main overview of 64 wind turbines with links to specific turbine

On each turbine 70 linked check sheets to fill from phones + punch list with photos added from phones

Everything was updating in real time. We used in on 3 computers in the office and 20 techn icons on site.

I will never come back to Excel. Of course my opinion :)

I think she is an excel lady that's why saying this otherwise nowadays G-sheet is far better than excel

She doesn't have a clue about Google sheet, Google data analysis is actually on another level, you are only limited based on your script experience. True that it becomes really laggy after 10k row data

Online excel is better than sheets because of the familiarity of desktop excel

Completely incorrect that Sheets is not suited for hardcore data analysis.
