At ReDriven, we’ll be taking you through the pros and cons of a huge range of used cars to see how well they’re going now that they’re a few years old, have thousands of kilometres on the clock, and are coming toward the end of their warranty, or maybe don’t have one at all.

Plus, thanks to our resident mechanic, Jim, you’ll find out what commonly goes wrong with them and what might need to be fixed.

Most importantly, we want to make ReDriven a voice for the most in-the-know used car experts there are...you guys.. See, you’re the ones that actually buy, live with, love and sometimes unfortunately hate the cars we’ll be reviewing.

So we want to hear your thoughts. Hit us up in the comments, or on Instagram and Facebook.

We’d love nothing more than for you to give us as much feedback as possible, so we can make this channel the best it can be.

I love BMW's but the new design language is horrible. They're off my list until they fix it.

I know someone that owned an Aston Martin V8 from 2009.
It cost him the same cost of the vehicle to maintain it over 7 years.
An absolute money sink-hole.

I'd probably need to stretch the budget just a little bit, but for new M2 money my choice would be an early LC500.

I'm still not sold on the new M2. The previous generation seemed like the perfect spirit successor to the E46 M3 and the perfect sports car. This new one seems kinda...wrong? I don't know what it is but I'm really not a fan.

I think you should narrow the list to 1) rear wheel drive, 2) manual clutch pedal, 3) four seats, and 4) two doors. A used special edition/premium V8 Mustang is definitely at the top of the list and you can also add the previous generation M2. In the US, a used 911 is simply too expensive since many for sale are very low mileage in mint condition. I think the reliable risk is too high with the Jaguar as a commuter, but pretty nice as an extra car. We can't get the Nissan Z at MSRP in the US. The dealer markup is at least $25k USD. A new Supra also has some dealer markup and used versions are expensive. You can order a 2023 M2 for MSRP right now if you don't mind waiting. That said, the quality of dealer service in the US is poor for Ford, Nissan and Toyota relative to BMW dealers. It will be interesting to see how many 2023 manual M2s are sold.

Old proverb from ancient times states,
He with big Rooster who drives small Alto is wearing bigger smile than he with small Rooster boasting large engine.

They were pretty wise in the olden days.

I went with the 2016 6MT F-Type S, and have zero regrets even after dumping in serious cash to fix the clutch and LSD. Also crossed shopped the 2011-2013 TTRS, which isn’t on this list but maybe should be. 😁

I don't get why everybody hates it it's the car enthusiasts wanted all along: widebody, manual, 6cyl, small and nimble and they even got rid of the oversized kidneys

The RC F could only dream of having more power than the new M2

Also with the 30k you’ll save on the Aston Martin, the rumor has it you’ll spend most of that saved money on maintenance throughout the years if you drive it often

The previous M2 is the choice

Hello, I just purchased an LS430 with 280000km on the clock. As you know, the 3UZ engine was one of Lexus' finest. It's a great Power plant and for $15k a bargain, especially since it has all the luxury features thrown in. You reviewed the Toyota Century last year, which is an absolute classic. I think the LS430 will also be a classic as it's the most reliable lexus ever made with all that old school charm. . If you would like to review it, let me know.

Love the video, I definitely wouldn't get a new BMW if I had the money.

You could get an Audi R8 V8 for around $120K in Australia, or a V10 for about $150K.
You could also get an Alpine A110 for $120K which are renowned for their handling and fun.

Good to hear a different perspective 👍 I don’t think the M2 is ugly but it has a distinct look that sets it apart

I'd definitely go the GT-R over the M2 hands down without a question but if it has to be from one of the others mentioned before it I'd go for the Vantage for something a bit different.

Was honestly expecting today's video to be hidden features in modern cars people don't know about.

I've got a feeling that this week's review car is going to be of a European origin for some reason lol.

Keep up the good work guys and look forward to Friday's video as per usual 👍.

Lexus RCF. Long term for reliability, build quality and engineering integrity there is nothing better than a Lexus. Yes the BMW is the better drivers car, but you will also have to deal with the money pit engineering.

Awesome video as usual but i would add 1 more option in this mix, the new Corvette that would be my choice over the new M2

Also consider a V8 Commodore or Turbo Falcon, though they're not internationally available and larger than the M2...

Audi TT RS is another (slightly indirect) rival. But my choice would be the C63s for sure.

Just get an AR Giulia, the only driver’s car you will ever need. And as an addon the dashboard doesn’t come from Aliexpress like most German cars.
