At 60, I discovered that life's greatest revelations come when you least expect them. Today, I'm sharing the 10 powerful principles that didn't just change my perspective – they revolutionized my entire approach to living. These aren't theoretical concepts; they're battle-tested truths that emerged from six decades of triumphs, failures, and everything in between.

🌟 In this video, I reveal how:
- Age is just a number when it comes to setting new goals and dreaming bigger
- Why stepping out of your comfort zone becomes your greatest ally
- The simple shift from perfectionism to progress that changes everything
- How your inner circle shapes your future (and why it matters more than ever)
- The liberating power of letting go of past regrets
- Why health isn't just about longevity – it's about living fully
- The secret to taking control of your happiness (no matter your circumstances)
- How gratitude became my daily superpower
- Why my biggest failures became my most valuable teachers
- The game-changing impact of living with clear purpose and intention

This isn't just another list of rules – it's a roadmap for anyone who believes that life's best chapters can begin at any age. Whether you're 25 or 65, these principles will show you why it's never too late to rewrite your story and create the life you've always imagined.

💡 Perfect for:
- Anyone feeling stuck in their comfort zone
- Those ready to take charge of their happiness
- People seeking purpose in their next life chapter
- Anyone who believes in continuous growth
- Those looking to transform setbacks into comebacks

Greetings from Antalya Turkey. I'm retired and at the age of 56 I am learning how to play the guitar, German and improving my swimming sytle. Keeping myself busy with lots of hobbies. Also trying to sleep before midnight.

I would like to add to the 'embrace failure' tip that you should put yourself as often as possible in situations where failure is almost probable. Not talking about huge risks obviously, just everyday stuff; experiment in your hobbies, attempt home and car repairs, plant the wrong plants in the wrong locations, take up a sport you're no good at, learn a musical instrument etc. I'm 61 now, and this has been my ethos for my entire adult life, mainly because I was terrible with money for the first 30 years of it. But I was thinking the other day, because I have made so many mistakes I have learned a vast amount of practical knowledge. I will say another outcome from being willing to try anything is that you end up with a lot of interests, which I think is a handy thing going into the part of life where you get rid of the job and have time on your hands. I'm stuck working for another few years but I'm going to have no trouble filling time when the job is gone. Also walk lots, like Brenden is doing. Best exercise ever for a whole bunch of reasons. Resistance training really helps at this age as well. I swim and do weights and although it hurts at the gym, it's nice to get around in the world with good posture feeling strong. Good luck everyone! I'm not going to say 60 is the new 40 because it's NOT hahaha. Oh to be 40 again.

Some rules I follow:
- pay attention to your society; I stay aware of politics and our society culture, it’s important to know what is going on!
- be honest. Especially to yourself.
- Try to find some laughs everyday. There’s no better mood adjuster than a good laugh!
- Enjoy Music. As a BIG Music fan, listening to Music (RnR is my taste) is my passion.
- eat well. Don’t just consume, but consider what variety of food you are eating.
- spend time with animals. Watching, playing, caring for pets or even yard animals is a healthy reminder of our role in nature.
- seek out opinions and knowledge: just like your videos, you can always find useful information if you are interested.

It has been said that God is just waiting for you to ask for anything you wish! So I ask Him what I wish for myself.

Your No1 Goal hit home with me straight away, Brenden. At 88, I continue to launch into even more ambition projects. Today, I'll be presenting live to around 40-45 'young ones like yourself, ' on this very important subject incorrectly called, 'Retirement.'

As always, another great video. Thank you for that! I've always wanted to visit Australia. One thing I've always told my kids is to never say something out of anger, to always think about what you say before you say it because once you say it, you can never take it. I hope you have a wonderful day !

This is one of your best videos yet.—I’ll give you one of mine: Live in the NOW. I fought buying a computer until one couldn’t do the simplest thing without one. Then I fought learning how to use the things until I realized that someone was going to drive to where I live and punch me in the nose if I didn’t learn how to use one so I did. Now I have only had to call Apple customer support once this year. — Roll with the flow.

Yes, I don't stress anymore! I would rather be alone than with stressful people and situations. Whatever will happen, good or bad, I will not stress over it anymore! Time I have left is precious and I will only use that time on things that I would want to do.
Yes, the past is past. I only look forward.

Yes, I always tell this to everyone! As long as you are still alive, it's never too late to ask God what you want, never too late to do anything you want! And still never too late to dream on what you wish for, even though it looks impossible!

Thanks for your 10 rules, Brenden. I am returning to tennis after 10 years away and rule 3 is super helpful. At 65 I can’t run the way I used to, but I can enjoy the game more than ever.

I’m 58 and approaching 59 soon…
Things are coming together well for me, despite some challenges, but I’m in a wonderful time in life and appreciate your sage advice.

Really appreciate your ten rules. Nice video. I am struggling with witnessing the changes that the USA is going through. Appears to me that the nation is becoming a third world country: Open Borders, shootings and lootings, drugs everywhere, on and on. I have no control over these things, but the USA I grew up in 70 years ago is not the USA of today. But I have learned to live in the moment, and take care of myself. It is all that I have. Thank you again.

Hello Brenden! Learning new things also keeps life interesting and meaningful. I really hope to visit beautiful Australia someday. Watch your step and beware of those Australian serpents!🌻

Many people only think that they wish they had done this and that when they are already dying. My tip, think about it now and just do it! I have no regrets if I die now. I was able to do everything with what I can afford and said everything I need to say to everybody.
