The Line drawing tool works great, except I can only draw about 10 lines before the map morphs into a clone and I'm required to add further lines on a different map. Only one map is visible online and it won't page.

you got that right. I can't seem to keep a line where I put it - lines along roads 'jump' to undesired places, and I am completely frustrated with trying to make a map.

Seems like it has changed, need to you to Your Places > Maps and then Create

I how no idea how else to get there, but I go to Google Maps -> In side menu choose Saved -> There choose Maps -> below that choose Open my Maps-> There choose Create New Map.

not helpful when you draw over street because it ends up covering street names which makes this pointless to follow since folks now can't see the street name.
