AI shouldn't replace human lead governments, but an advanced governmental "Advisory Intelligence" (see what I did there) whose process is understood and whose recommendations are made public and can be debated openly before being I would be okay with that.

The only way an AI government would be efficient is by removing lobbyists and politicians that only write laws to accomodate the interests of a few. Simple automation could do that, removing the need for ridiculous amounts of money spent on campaigns that promote trust on a single person. The obvious conclusion would be reached faster by automation because it would follow simple logic: if you want peace and stability, poverty and inequality must be adressed first. You can't have peace and stability if only 1% of the population is benefiting from the rest. Simple logic. A robot would know the fact that a millionaire doesn't need to avoid taxes to buy a yatch with another yatch inside and that a person below the poverty line needs to eat everyday.

I bet ultimately AI will take majority government decision and will take humanity to prosperity.

This video just present problems, wish they can be resolved in the programing, so the AI can work as and ideal government

Why not just give some one like the president or the senate to listen to a large group of A.I
maybe like 100 independent bots and give the politicians veto power over the A.I.
but either the A.I has to bring the idea to the people
or the people need to run it by the A.I. for their opinions on if we are passing the correct legislation.

Guys how about thinking outside of the box, the real problem is the way humanity is allocated, when you have a huge country there will always be political winners and losers, not even ai could find a middle term for everyone to be happy about an outcome, what we need is to dissolve the concept of nations and countrys and gather rather in series of cities with themes, that way you can live in a place where everyone is on the same page, and be only globalised and united in terms of commerce and multilateralism.
I for myself already find nationalism irrational and useless, i put my alliegeance with the internet community rather than any of my nations agenda

AI will be the magic ball when they don't know what to do or how to do what they want, with the results they desire. It is already. Just plug in the rules and it does the rest.

BBC always have some bad ideas for you. Just ask. Or... even no need - they will bring up a bad idea regardless.
