Leon is a good dude. My father was his colleague at Goldman Sachs. My family runs a hedge fund and our first office was in World Trade Center Tower 1. After 9/11, Leon invited us to use his office to help us get back on our feet. His generosity is for real.

Imagine a billionaire saying he doesn’t like the leadership yet voted for it. Doesn’t agree with desantis mask stuff but isn’t wearing one. Thinks that education system is the way to go but says government should be providing opportunity or thinking for us. Says we should pay 50% in taxes to a government who clearly can’t balance a budget & overspends causing economic downturns & massive inflation. This billionaire is not only hypocritical in his stances but he doesn’t realize it, nor did anyone point it out. Everyone on the team sat there enamored as to not “offend” the billionaire. Who from the sounds of it also skirted the draft of Vietnam like Biden, trump & most the rich people back then.

I have a fair degree of respect for Cooperman, but in one snippet he sounds like another rich guy saying, “I should pay more taxes!” Yet, somehow, he’s waiting for some bell to ring before doing so. He could very simply just file everything as simple income and fix his problem.

Flame away, but when the top 20% are already paying ALL the taxes, I believe he’s got a very limited understanding of the code and/or the reality on non-billionaires who otherwise have done fairly well for themselves. I pay tons of taxes. NO ONE deserves more of my money, especially when they haven’t worked for it.

His criticism or DeSantis’s anti-masking policy is laughable in that it’s not based in any way in science or actual practice. That opinion 18 months ago was cautious. That opinion today is absurd.

Huge fan of the PBD podcast and used to tune in every Tuesday/Thursday, but many of us miss the old format -- current events with the old crew. Danielle brings a lot of value and we didn't get to hear much from her on this episode. I miss watching these types of conversations on Valuetainment; additionally, I noticed I haven't been as interested to tune in anymore...just some constructive criticism, great content though!! We appreciate you Pat!

That is one of my biggest issues about the last election: "Well, it was a vote against Trump." That's not how voting works! I'd rather you not vote at all if that's the case.
