Sci-Fi Classic Review: FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR (1986)

IF COMMENTS ARE DISABLED, it's not my fault! YouTube gets really paranoid when the algorithm sees too many children in your video. God forbid kids to see comments on a YouTube video about a family movie, apparently, even if I have to specifically check a box saying the video isn't meant for kids with every upload.

With Disney on the ropes, the new heads of the company--Eisner, Wells, and Katzenberg--managed to pick their movie studio up, starting with the cult classic Flight of the Navigator.

If you're looking for a "review" in the traditional sense, then let me just say I love this movie. This video, however, is a "review" in the literal sense (using the Miriam-Webster definition "a retrospective view or survey"), in that I'm going over the history of the film and its place in sci-fi cinema history.

In other words, please stop commenting on how my videos aren't what you consider "reviews."
