I paid about 40€ per night in cheap hotels/guest houses. If you're comfortable staying at a hostel, those are way cheaper. Short-distance public transport is less than 1€, long-distance journeys on a KTX are between 20 and 35€. Palaces and temples usually charge less than 3€ per person. Food starts at less than 1€ for a Samgak Kimbap (similar to Onigiri), a full meal usually costs between 5 and 8€. Rental cars are somewhat expensive, I paid about 200€ for 3 days. You only need one if you want to get deep into the countryside though. In total, including flight tickets from Europe, 2 domestic flights to and from Jeju, a rental car, 6 KTX tickets, accomodation, tickets for various attractions, eating out 2 times a day etc, I spent about 3000€ for 3 weeks. If you only want to stay in a hostel in Seoul and Busan and eat from a convenience store, you can easily shave off 500€.

Nah, you just have to look around and you can find way cheaper options. I mean, that is if you want. Maybe she likes luxury. I handled my flight ticket for £550 return and never paid more than £25/hotel room and yes, I stayed in hotels or B&Bs in single rooms.

Only some skincare, I didn't do many activities, I did do a lot of touristing lots of walking and went clubbing too, actually I think I would have spent more if I wasn't sick omg...
