Girl I feel the same way - I tried so hard but People We Meet On Vacation just felt like a lack of communication which could've been solved in chapter 1. Happy for others who enjoy it tho. I'm gonna give her new book a go!

I thought I didn't like her writing style, because I didn't like Book Lovers at all, but the I read People We Met On Vacation, and I didn't mind that book. Usually I read a few books by an author before saying I hate them, and this was just my experience :D

Honestly when it comes to romance, the best author (for me personally) is Julia Quinn. I love the bridgetonverse and her writing style is actually amazing.

Kinda random, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when I have the entire series in paperback but the last one only comes in hardcover. Or vise versa😅

I AGREE!!! Book Lovers was good but it had very little plot and the characters were not very interesting, love ur videos!!

Personally, I loved every single Emily Henry book I’ve read they’ve all been 5’s. I’m just waiting in my order of Happy Place

If you don't like it, you don't have to buy it. Get yourself some Christopher Moore. I'd recommend Bloodsucking fiend: A love story or Island of the sequined love nun. Though, A Dirty Job was also very good.

I only read beach read and it was nice overall but only nice, so i didn't bother with the rest yet. i dont think i've heard even 1 possitive review on book lovers maybe that's part of the reason i didn't try her other books.

I mean... most books come out as hardcovers, and then a few months to a year later on the paperback editions also come out. Did you get your previous Emily Henry books as new releases, or after they'd already been published for a little while? Lol

Have you read the “series” that’s constantly gets recommended to me on YouTube, idk what they’re called but they’re romance kink books. She has multiple covers to fit you preferences forms spicy to subtle, everything color coded etc. Would be interested to know if they are good or just aesthetic
