This is another Alco short line I will be covering often. It is owned by GVT which is the same company who owns the Falls Road Railroad which I cover a lot. I know this video is kinda different from other peoples videos of this Railroad and that's because I actually got their later after they switched downtown Batavia but I was able to catch them heading west to the CSX interchange and also heading back to the roundhouse. I was also able to catch footage of them switching the scrap siding near the roundhouse. I was also able to catch the weekly appearance of their MLW RS-18 #1801 which serves as a back up engine. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video and I want to wish all of you guys a happy new year!

Another great looking video. Crisp images. Steady shots. Very nice.

This RS 18 and the FRR RS 11 1802 I just can't help but think about the limited side view from within the cab - maybe you get used to it but I think I'd freak out not knowing what is happening on the other side unlike a horizontal windshield across the front (FRRR #2035)-but even in that engine when going in reverse then you only get the side view..

Hi
I'm putting together a YouTube video on the MLW RS-18. May I please use some of this footage?
