My mom didn't know King James had nothing to do with translating the bible and he probably didn't read it because if he had read it, he would have seen the book he authorized would have condemned his own behavior.

He only ensured it was translated to English. He didn't partake in it. Those who have been looking for similar excuses will applaud this man. The original manuscripts are out there for all to see.
