Even US media pointed out that this attack from Iran was in retaliation for Israel striking the Iranian consulate in Syria. This attack was conducted in a way where Iran knew the drones/missiles would be intercepted. This was a show of force from Iran due to being directly attacked. Also to mention the Israel/Iran proxi war without mentioning US involvement seems questionable because undoubtedly US is heavily involved.

It was very good news for India that Shah got overthroned because shah was hard-core supporter of Pakistan & USA

There is a lot more to the story. The British and Soviet Union were both occupying iran and using its natural resources for themselves. Reza shah which is the grandfather of the current crown prince reza Pahlavi. Took control and started modernization of iran. He kicked out the Soviet soldiers and was trying to use the oil money to modernize iran as well as use Germany for getting better equipment. The British saw him as a threat to their interests and deposed him putting his son as a puppet in charge until he too tried to further modernize iran by using the Americans to reduce the British influence and control over him and iran. This angered the British and they were also angry with the Americans because after the coup they didn’t give back the oil. Later the shah tried to increase the oil profits and reduce the foreign control over iran so they decided to get rid of him by putting the mulla in charge. The mulla who the British trained and the French kept safe until the revolution was successful. Ultimately the mullas stabbed them in the back. They took control over iran and cut out the masters behind the curtain. That’s why the masters send in Iraq to attack iran in an 8 year war.

I agree with the remark below. Israel was given, or has taken, the US and UK support to be permission to attack carte blanche, be it Gaza or anywhere else it seems. WHY do the US and UK give unconditional support to Israel?. Did Israel attack Iran to distract from the mass destruction and tens of thousands of deaths in Gaza? I cannot understand the "unconditional" support of my country, when the current Israeli hard right government does not appear to care jot what anyone thinks but itself. Meanwhile it is letting its hostages and families suffer so very much. Breathtaking. Iran helped US 10th Mountain Brigade in Operation Anaconda, because 10th Mountain didn't do mountains like in Afghanistan. Iran lead the Americans and took Tora Bora.
