A deadly lack of safe water in Somalia I UNICEF
Показать описание
In 2011 famine was declared in Somalia. Now, in 2017, famine once again is looming over the drought-struck country. Not only are children suffering from malnutrition but this has resulted in an outbreak of cholera and acute diarrhea. As of today, 22,000 cases have been reported and Baidoa, Somalia, is one of the epicentres. There is no clean water for drinking or sanitation, which means diseases can quickly spread. We’re on the ground delivering life-saving supplies, support and helping nurses like Amina boost morale of the patients. Together with partners we’re aiming to reach 1.5 million people with clean water and sanitation services in 2017.
