This makes me really glad my parents were able to afford orthodontics for me. I had a pallet expander when I was like 10, and I imagine I may have needed jaw surgery if I hadn't had that done when my bones were still malleable

Nosebleed tips: DO NOT TILT YOUR HEAD BACK. YOUR NOSE IS CONNECTED TO YOUR THROAT SO IT WILL JUST GO IN YOUR THROAT.
Tip 2: tilt your head DOWN.
Tip 3: get a couple of tissues. And if it’s REALLYYYY bad grab 10 wed folded paper towel and if you don’t have paper towels just use a regular one and do the same thing.

I had maxillofacial surgery at 16. Had both top and bottom jaw aligned. It’s painful and you can’t eat what you want, but it’s totally worth it!
