Her confidence is gonna BREAK THE SKY once she finishes her treatment plan. She's beautiful.

My daughter had a similar surgery. They didn't need to do the lower jaw but pulled the upper jaw forward considerably. That was decades ago and it did change her life. Kudos to wonderful doctors who accomplish this.

I'm really HAPPY for her !!!
She probably talked about this all day and even dreamt of it...
I'm proud of her !!

Had a friend have this done in high school and it helped so many of her dental and headache problems. For a short time we had to adjust to her new face, but now i barely remember what she looked like before. Really cool that we can do these surgeries.

I had the same surgery. Recovery was rough but it was so worth it

Watching her smile grow more and more through the pain is beautiful!

That poor girl. There must have been so many things she couldn’t do that she can now. You can tell she’s so much happier

Wow i cant imagine the discomfort she felt all those years, it must be so relieving for her now to bite down and have her upper and lower jaw match up properly! So happy for her; what a life changing thing 🙌 ❤️

Had the opposite surgery, had a tiny lower jaw and slightly distorted upper jaw from childhood and ongoing TMJ. It did change my life. I had difficulty chewing and couldn’t cut food with my incisors, I had frequent migraines, my molars were super sharp from never grinding against each other. I can eat normally now, I still have migraines, but not as frequently as before. It restored function and reduced daily pain for me.

I had this same procedure done. Recovery was the hardest thing ever and i would do it all again.

You can genuinely see the difference in the happiness of the smiles from pre op to post op and post recovery, so much brighter

People forget this isn’t purely cosmetic. There’s a lot of quality of life improvements from this procedure too.

One of my friend's had this surgery and she said it changed the quality of her life. She seemed so much happier after and was almost unrecognizable!

My sister had this surgery and it was a very hard recovery but it completely changed her face. I remember our first thought when her swelling came down was how much more like sisters we looked. It’s amazing that surgeons can help people like this

My grandfather pioneered that jaw surgery in the 1930s! He had a patient with a lower jaw that jutted out so far, rainwater would catch in her mouth. I looked at the before and after photos and the young woman looked great afterwards.
