please ans : without assigning the 0/3 interface to truck port my pc can communicate with 10.3 nw, i ping from 10.1 to 10.3, it can communicate, why?

Sir thank you for your tutorial. But the question of how VLAN trunk mode work. I tried sw1 fa0/24 trunking with sw2 fa0/1, and both switches I change in configure mode int sw1 fa0/24 and sw2 fa0/1, as you said. sw1 fa0/1 straight-through cable connected to pc1. sw2 fa/10 straight-through cable with pc2. Both are the sales department. Trying to ping but it's not pinging. Is that have to be the same ethernet port as you showed? and it does not work with a multilayer switch, is it only for switch 2960.
