It is actually a good sign if you can imitate other singers. You basically have a good control of your voice and has good range. To give you an example, well known vocalists like Ariana Grande and Charice Pempengco can actually imitate other singers. A lot of singers can imitate Britney’s baby voice. And to add to that, how does one normally learn how to sing? By imitating the singer so that means if you can imitate the singer you also have perfect pitch because you know what note they hit.
